This policy explains how Tala North, LLC collects, uses, and handles information when you visit talanorth.com or reach out to work together. I keep things simple because my practice is small and the data I collect is limited. If you have questions, you can reach me directly at the contact information at the bottom of this page.
When you submit the contact form on this site, I receive your name, email address, and anything you include in your message. That information is sent to my email through Web3Forms and stored in my Outlook inbox. I may follow up and, if we move into an active working relationship, add your contact information to Airtable to keep track of our communication.
If you use the scheduling link to book a meeting with me, Calendly collects your name, email address, and any other details you provide when booking. Calendly operates its own service with its own privacy practices. You can review their privacy policy at calendly.com/privacy.
If we engage in a paid working arrangement, Bluevine (my business banking and invoicing platform) will process payments and collect your name, email address, and billing information as part of that transaction. Bluevine's privacy policy is available at bluevine.com/legal/privacy-policy.
If we schedule a meeting, I may send a video conferencing link via Zoom or Microsoft Teams depending on your preference. Those meetings take place on the respective platform's infrastructure, and each has its own privacy practices. You can review Zoom's privacy policy at zoom.us/privacy and Microsoft's at microsoft.com/privacy.
This site does not currently use analytics tracking, advertising pixels, or cookies beyond what Netlify's hosting infrastructure sets for basic site operation.
I use the information you share to respond to your inquiry, schedule a meeting, or manage our working relationship. I do not sell your information, share it with third-party marketers, or use it for any purpose other than communicating with you directly.
This site uses a small number of third-party tools to operate. Each handles data according to its own privacy policy.
Netlify hosts this website and may collect technical information such as IP addresses and access logs as part of standard hosting operations. Web3Forms receives and routes contact form submissions to my email. Calendly handles meeting scheduling. Zoom and Microsoft Teams are used for video meetings at client preference. Bluevine handles invoicing and payment processing for clients. I encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services if you want to understand how they handle your information.
I retain email correspondence and contact information for as long as it is relevant to an active or potential working relationship. If you would like me to delete your information, reach out and I will do so.
You have the right to ask what information I have about you, to request a correction, or to ask me to delete it. Minnesota residents have additional rights under the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act, including the right to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain uses of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact me directly.
This site is intended for adults and for professionals at organizations. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
If I add new tools or change how I handle data in a meaningful way, I will update this policy and revise the date at the top of the page.
